[July 11, 2025] Digital IP entertainment company IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) collaborated with G-DRAGON (G-DRAGON), an artist belonging to the AI entertainment company Galaxy Corporation, to unveil the official character IP “ZO&FRIENDS (ZO&FRIENDS),” which captures the artist's identity.
In this collaboration, IPX, which has built up creative capabilities through various global IP businesses, and G-DRAGON, an innovative icon that has been leading global trends across the music and fashion world, will present a new character IP and deliver a special experience to fans around the world.
“ZO&FRIENDS” is a character IP created by adding IPX's creative touch to G-DRAGON's iconic taste and materials directly inspired by everyday life, such as ZOA (ZOA), who represents G-DRAGON's pet “Joa” as a character, and her symbol “Daisy” as an A&NE (A&NE). ZO&FRIENDS contains the meaning of friendship where ZOA (ZOA) and Ann (A&NE) meet and become “good friends,” and it is also a name that reflects G-DRAGON's unrivaled sense and ZO&FRIENDS character IP concept.
It captures the artist's intention to convey healing and comfort through “ZOA (ZOA),” a cloud like “ZOA (ZOA),” who is born from clouds and is always careless and affectionate in slow motion, “ANN (A&NE),” a daisy daisy with an extraordinary sense of fashion, and “baby (AKI),” a natural color drop born from the color footprints of Joa like a cloud. The special walking path guided by ZO & FRIENDS, who are clumsy and more perfect, will provide a magical impression with pure play and beautiful art.
IPX presents a fairytale-like worldview and sensibility with a different appeal from traditional K-pop artist IPs based on G-DRAGON's rich imagination, emotional mood, and individuality. Through this, it is expected to provide a different IP experience that is more friendly and conveys empathy and comfort to the public.
This project was planned over about 2 years, and it is reported that G-DRAGON directly participated in the entire process from character names, logo design, worldview setting, storyline, product development, and pop-up store planning to pour out the love for the characters. IPX will open a pop-up store this summer to celebrate the launch of the “ZO&FRIENDS” IP and launch it globally.
IPX has maintained a close relationship with G-DRAGON through the development of various IP businesses. Last December, the celebrity keyring brand and IPX collaborated with “MONAMHEE (MONAMHEE),” which is developing a global IP business, and G-DRAGON's fashion brand “PEACEMINUSONE (PEACEMINUSONE),” and G-DRAGON's fashion brand, and introduced IPX's creative character IP keyring at LINE FRIENDS SQUARE Myeongdong through the 'PMO X Monamhee Pop-Up'.
