[May 29, 2026] Digital IP entertainment company IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) partnered with SM Entertainment (hereinafter SM) to unveil NCT WISH's new official character IP, 'wishnini.' The 'NCT WISH wishnini house POP-UP' at K-POP Square Hongdae successfully opened, with pre-bookings selling out in just 4 minutes.
wishnini is a character IP born from IPX's unique creativity, transforming NCT WISH's official character 'WISH DOLL' into a minini version. Embodying NCT WISH's desire to support everyone's wishes and dreams through music, it is set to become a new companion bringing small joys and hopes to the daily lives of fans (Cizennies).
IPX completed wishnini's unique worldview by adding its own creative touch to 'WISH CORE,' the sensibility associated with NCT WISH. In particular, the patchwork style, which involves sewing various pieces together to create a single design, metaphorically expresses the friendship of the NCT WISH members who have grown together.

The 'NCT WISH wishnini house POP-UP,' running until June 7th and fully embodying this WISH CORE sensibility, was designed to allow visitors to directly experience the cozy world of 'wishnini house.' Upon entering past the exterior facade, which features a patchwork design blending NCT WISH members and wishnini, visitors are greeted by a charmingly depicted world showcasing events happening within the wishnini house. Throughout the space, filled with stars and pastel tones reminiscent of 'WISH CORE,' wishnini's unique detailed elements were added to fabric photo zones and message zones, leading to an endless stream of commemorative photos from visitors.
Furthermore, a diverse range of products reflecting wishnini's personality and fans' preferences garnered significant anticipation. A colorful lineup was unveiled, featuring not only items highlighting each character's unique traits, such as plush keyrings and string pouches, but also practical living products like rugs, utilizing the 'wishnini house' concept. Additionally, fashion items like t-shirts, pajama pants, and cross bags were released, adding to fans' delight in choosing and drawing in fans eager to try them on.
This pop-up will begin at K-POP Square Hongdae, Shinsegae Centum City Mall Busan, Shanghai, and Beijing, with plans to sequentially expand to global stages in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia, and more.
An IPX official stated, "wishnini will be a new medium connecting fans and artists in a different way than before, by reinterpreting NCT WISH's unique 'WISH CORE,' which is emerging as a recent trend, through IPX's perspective." Meanwhile, the 6-member group NCT WISH, under SM Entertainment, consists of Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. They are currently receiving immense love from fans worldwide for their first full-length album, 'Ode to Love,' released last April.
